Before buying Omega

Good morning.
I’m a new member of the forum And I'm going to buy an Omega geneve (135.041 cal 601).

I'd like to ask you why dots at 12 o'clock are asymmetrical. Possible production defect, or is it indicative of a reprinted dial?

That’s how the tritium was applied coming out of the factory. Not defective or repainted. If you look up other examples you’ll see the same.

Thanks for the information. What do you think is the correct price for a watch in conditions like the one in the picture? Do you think it's a good model?

It’s easier if you tell us the price you’ve been told.

It looks a nice enough watch on the basis of the single photo but It’s hard to advise because you’ve not posted photos of the movement, caseback or crown.

I like .041 cases more than many on OF but I’d be tempted to look for an automatic in the £400-500 price region

Good evening. I have no problem reporting the purchase price, paid 500€ on a well-known site including shipments. I have 7 days to evaluate it and make a return if it does not correspond to that of the ad. I used a similar photo because, out of respect for the seller, I didn't put photos taken by him and he sent me. As soon as I get home I can take pictures personally and post them but the conditions are practically identical. Change the strap.

Photo of the watch seller. I was talking about this in the question I asked. Seeing these positional asymmetries, doubt arose to me.

I don't think you overpaid necessarily but it all comes down condition, condition, condition. I'd recommend showing us the pictures of the watch you bought. No need to hide the pictures out of respect as you're now the owner of said watch.

You’re right I have actually already made the payment and I am the full owner. I wanted to avoid, among other things, seeing the site, I wouldn't want to violate the forum rules. Being just registered, I don't know well and I wouldn't want to be banned. Here are the photos of the ad
