Well the twist to my story is that I'm only 32! Too young in my opinion!
I want to start doing some yoga or something. Already bought a new office chair to help things (hopefully).
    Been having lower back issues...

Big advocate for yoga. Turning 40 shortly and yoga has been a blessing as I’ve played impact sports for most of my life. Flexibility is key.

Wait until you hit 40! Everything all goes at once....I actually got doubled whammy because I also had my son when I turned 40 so the body was in pieces! I now ride my TCR if I am doing anything less than 30 or so miles. Although it’s my pride and joy, if the road is not smooth, my body takes a bit of a beating on it. I now ride my gravel bike pretty much everywhere now, except mountain biking of course. The geometry is much more forgiving and those thick tires absorbs everything. It’s like sitting on my couch!

Btw, I have decided to take over the president’s parking over the weekend ;)

I've been kicking around the idea of getting something new.
But I don't ride like I used to. So I don't ride enough to justify it.
    Plus, I love the TCR.
My riding really slowed down 2 years ago when we had our first child. Now, we have another one due in November!
So I probably will be riding less again lol. We'll see.

I hear you. I didn't start picking up my riding again until my son turned 3 (I'm 45) and when my wife was getting depressed seeing me unable to properly fit into my riding gear like I used to....

n+1 is always in play. The above completely ignores that rule. :p

I have something new on the way, hopefully will have it before this weekend's century in NJ....

Yup, being built up. It's a limited edition frame that took me months to get, had to source one from Europe.

Looking forward to seeing it. This sport has opened up a world I had no idea existed. Never knew there were so many independent bike builders out there.

Wasn’t planning on riding today but all this bike talk gave me the itch to do a quick one :)

Took this gem for a (short) ride today. My only Shimano equipped road bike. It stands on virus safe distance from the Campagnolo bikes.

Rode this morning and tried out my new Seasucker rack. Terrible background for this. Snapped the pic while I made a quick stop to make sure the suction cups were still doing their thing. 292A42F4-C31B-4444-B571-2770CD2E894E.jpeg

Had Seasucker mount for the Lotus for about 9 years now... never had an issue, but now they sometimes will loose suction if I don’t wet them. Probably about time to buy new suckers!

Edit: Found a pick of my bike and car, but unfortunately, no Seasucker in this one!

Great to hear that. I used it again today taking the bike to a fitting and it held up at high speeds on the freeway.

Also, the fitting was a good call.

‘Twas certainly a beautiful day for an MTB ride in Breckenridge. I was on my Trek Top-Fuel 9.8 today:

Pulled up just as the artist was getting ready to start the day on this piece. Going to have to check back on it once finished. 199E4374-6DEB-4E59-8F40-C862BB8D4A6F.jpeg
