Thanks @dougiedude ! That would be the Verrazano Narrows Bridge connecting SI to Brooklyn.

Went over the GWB a couple of weeks ago myself. Great riding up that way.

When I was living in Jersey, I used to do the 5 Borough tour. Cross winds were a bitch on that bridge.

I haven't had as much fun riding in the city in quite awhile as when I did those rides 6 weeks ago in and around Manhattan. Part of it was the novelty, not knowing that you could actually ride the City....

I bet that 5 Borough tour was amazing, but I get nervous around the less-experienced riders...

Key was to get there early and get ahead of the Walmart bikes. Otherwise it could be a nightmare.

All systems "go" for today's ride. (Not to worry, 105.012-65 stayed with the command module after the photo op):

So its been too hot and wet recently to go outside much, but bought a trainer and started using Zwift indoors going off the sensors, its bloody brilliant for what it does, highly recommend it to anyone that uses a trainer indoors and doesn't want to have to stare at a wall or watch Judge Judy while riding

Just [emoji176]Your enthusiasm bursting with endless energy. I always wondered how you could stay superfit maintaining an athlete built physique inspite of all that confectionery & dessert food. Now I know @Mad Dog[emoji4] You must know 40% of Americans are obese or overweight & only 36.5% are within normal limits. Ok. I'l give you a worrying stat about Malaysians. 1 in every 8 Malaysians is a Diabetic !

    Perfect day today!
Although there was a strong head wind no matter which direction I rode. Why is that?

Because that's the way it works. ;)

Also, how's the handling regarding crosswinds with the deep carbon hoops?
