Did a team training ride today...we stopped at Dunkin' for a piss break...YAY! Rode my trusty '11 Schwinn Paramount Series 9 road race bike...and of course I wore my Schwinn Sales & Service t-shirt. We did about 50 miles with some good pace lining, climbs and sprint signs...

I would expect nothing less. Lol[/QUOTE]

    Oh, you know it!

Hey, you're a shooter...do those look like bullet holes to you in the pic below? Or do you think they're mounting holes for part of the Dunkin' sign that may have fallen off? I dunno...I just noticed it in the pic.

Thanks, man...I bought my Paramount Series 9 new in 2011 from Performance Bicycles and it's my primary road racing bike. It came factory equipped with a Dura-Ace drive train and shifters...can you believe it...a Schwinn with factory Dura-Ace? Hilarious! I also have a 2011 Schwinn Paramount Series 8 which is my rain/indoor trainer bike, a vintage 1989 Schwinn Waterford Paramount which I purchased new while in the military as well as a 2010 Schwinn Sprint fixed gear. I'm sort of a big Schwinn fan.

@Mad Dog I think I told you I went to school with Richard Schwinn.
Haven't seen him in 25 years. I just googled him
and his company, Waterford Precision, is only 2 miles
from my summer home. LOL! And, his partner is the
    original designer of the Paramount.
And the company was formed out of the Paramount factory.
You probably know all this. But coincidences abound!
I'll have to ride over(on my Trek Madone:p) and say hey.

Clean and lube for the drivetrain before m y ride today.

Yes, it's a beautiful day to ride a bike; 62° and sunny!

In case anyone's wondering, I like to hang mine by the rivet over the front door. Brings everything perfectly eye level, and allows easy freewheeling to lube the chain

I've used T-9 in the past and it did a pretty good job from what I remember. I've been using what @dougiedude has pictured (ProGold ProLink) for the past several years only because it's what the local bike shop carries...and it seems to do a pretty good job as well...although I'm still looking for a chain lube that'll give me an extra 10-20 watts. ;)

Not a beautiful day to ride a bike in Cincinnati, Ohio (it's been raining all day)...so we did an indoor trainer session at the LBS...and my faithful SEIKO 6309-7049 was along for the adventure...and it was and adventure...first time back on the TT bike for this upcoming road race season...I was reminded of how riding in the full aero position can require "re-training" after several months of training strictly on the road bike...

    image.jpeg

The faithful SEIKO 6309-7049 says it's time to go home...and consume hot cocoa with petite marshmallows...following full aero position "re-training"...

Got to ride in my childhood home town today. It was most definitely a beautiful day to ride a bike!

    Can anyone guess my hometown?

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg This is the home I was raised in (at least until 3rd Grade, when we moved across town). image.jpeg
