Is it true that Moebius 9415 needs to be stirred in the oiler cup to “make it uniform,” especially if it hasn’t been used for more than a day? I saw this in a YouTube video, but—as with most things on YouTube—I take it with a grain of salt.
That said, I have to admit 9415 doesn’t always look entirely uniform in its container, so I’m curious if this is actually a sound practice. I’ve never heard of this being recommended before.
In the video, the person uses a clean cutting broach to extract a bit of 9415 from a 2ml container, then transfers it into the oil cup using a clean oiler. After that, he “mixes” the grease in the cup with the tip of his oiler.
