Genuinely struggling to understand what they were thinking, reputational suicide when folks start laughing at your offerings and if you check the insta feed everyone is horrified.

Going ahead with the classic moonwatch order now, thank you Tudor for simplifying my choices!

What a letdown.

If I had the cash, this would be pretty high on my list

I’m that 1% that likes it. I’ll show myself out...

I am part of the remaining 99,9 %. It looks completely unsymmetrical... and what is that feature of the lugs? A bezel Rotation protection? If at least they made it with an overall stainless steel bracelet...

😁😁😁

Also do not understand why Rolex / Tudor are offering more gold models when the whole market is longing for steel :whipped:

Wow, Tudor and Rolex offerings very weak this year.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a sensible and desirable Speedy still to be released by Omega, otherwise my watch budget is looking very safe so far!!

It’s bloody horrible. Between Rolex and Tudor there are 2 watches I might consider.

1. The YM, but it’s WG and therefore too expensive
2. The chrono, but I see they’ve kept in the same case as opposed to slimming down.

No BB58 updates as far as I can see.

It strikes me as A quiet Ish year to get straight on the backlog of others such as BB GMT etc.

Well I say thank you Tudor. They heard our cries. They’ve solved the long wait list issue at ADs by creating a watch that NO ONE WANTS! Well played, guys. Well freakin played.

Everyone: "Wow the AP Code 11.59 will be the worst watch released this year!"

Tudor: "hold my beer...."

I was hoping for something that would take the heat off the gmt so I could get one sooner...

Of course the new Tudor "Thing" was met with glowing anticipation from Hodinkee...

"Between the slightly larger case, the distinct crown placement, and that bezel lock, it's really hard to predict how the P01 will feel and wear on wrist – but I'm excited to see it in the metal. While certainly not as mass market as your standard Black Bay, the P01 looks interesting and I really like the black dial and the steel 12-hour bezel. This is definitely one that needs a hands-on, so stay tuned for me."

::facepalm1::

Utterly no acknowledgement of the controversy surrounding it. I'd say "polarizing" opinions, but that typically refers to something that is balanced, and the opinions against this are about 99 to 1. I predict that PLENTY of these will be available from Jomashop in about a year or so.

The fact that they have so many brand associations now, making them unable, it seems, to be impartial in any way shape or form, has made me turn my back on HODINKEE.

"They're just trolling RPR, it's a bad photoshop" bahahahahahahahahaha

On a serious note, that Black Bay GMT I was considering? Yeah nah man. I'll look elsewhere

Well what a letdown. I didn't think they'd rerelease the Sub but a thought some kind of BB58/Sub dial mashup was on the cards. Instead we get this monstrosity.

After several strong years I guess they were due a fυck up.

Just put a deposit on a Black Bay 58 😀 I guess Tudor can keep going with that and the GMT for a while anyway, and maybe give us what we really want next year once demand begins to dry up. Might be a smart move in the long run.

Man. I was thinking the exact same thing. AP execs must be giving a big sigh of relief right now.

The blue bb58 is confirmed the Tudor Sub is not.

So. . Um.... I guess the blue bb 58 is now unconfirmed?
