So this has finally been properly announced: who’s on the waiting list?

Not sure if it’s a limited model or not so put my name down with the Oxford Street boutique. Hopefully I get one!
interested to know as well.

I have a pre order in currently. There is no info on when these are going to hit dealers though. Anywhere between now and Christmas I would expect.

I’m looking forward to it. I looked at a military watch recently and it was more expensive and would probably cost a fortune on upkeep. This way you get a lot of the look and less hassle I guess.

Love the watch but I'm not a fan of the "antique-style" hands, I prefer the straight 40's military type. Otherwise it would be a home run (for me)

The spotting dial is very interesting. More appealing than a plain white dial imo.

Looks great. I’ve been told 4-6 weeks for mine to turn up (per longines by all accounts), so hopefully there will be a few pictures of actual owned watches here in the next month or so.

As an update, I’ve just had an email from longines stating Q1 2019 for deliveries to start.

It goes back every time. I wonder if they are having trouble making the dials, with each one being individually done?

Weird that they keep pushing it back. I wonder if the Nautilus has started hitting stores yet.

At this rate, it won’t be out by Basel 2019!

Not that that means anything anymore now that Swatch Group is out of Baselworld. 😉

They don’t care about Basel 2019– they’re not going, remember?

Of course - the point still remains however. To be delivering a watch around a year after announcement seems a little long.

yes that's right. They should have a time frame for the watches hitting stores after they are announced. They are already under production when brands showcase them at the shows as I understand no prototypes are displayed then why this inordinate delays.

You have to remember that Basel is a trade show. This watch was announced and made available for preorder to the public in mid October, around 6 weeks ago.

Is it possible they’re getting so many orders that they have had to ramp up production? And decided they should deliver larger numbers at once instead of trickling them out?

Maybe so. I’ll sit tight for now and wait!

Anyone receive theirs yet? I know delivery has started in the UK from what I've seen/read on Instagram.
