The servicing should be done properly and sympathetically or you could diminish the value of the watches (case polishing, replacement of the correct vintage parts, removal of the nice caseback goop in the second watch etc.).

Well, I wouldn't want a load of purple gloop on my watch, I have to say - it's a bit like the folks who never remove the protective seat covers on their new car 😉

True but my watches with the goop I never wear - just wear their duplicates. And the new cars unless they were limited edition ferraris probably won't appreciate in value. 😉

I am not sure if i like or not . It's a very rare piece and in a very nice condition . I wouldn't say no if i had an uncle that have one .😀. The tachy is specially nice 😁

They will never be sold (my uncle turned blind 30 years ago, thats why he didn't wore them anymore). I hope to receive the two-tone in time.

Very nice to keep them in the family. It nice to wear and enjoy and then pass them down.
