After a nine month wait, I picked up the box at DHL this morning. I added one link, very easy. Overall the watch is everything I hoped it would be. I’m very pleased.

Lovely! I think these are really very attractive. Why the long wait?

Handsome watch, Larry; wear it in good health.

13.5mm height including crystal; 11 mm sans crystal seems to wear well.

I once bought a William L. chronograph similar, but it came in with a 16.7 mm height. I learned the hard way to be sure and consider the height as well as the other more obvious parameters which affect how a watch wears.

Cheers,

Joe

Baltic works this way with new models. You pre-order within a specific time frame. My assumption is that as a small company, they gain economies of scale this way.

Indeed it wears well. My custom RGM 455 with V7753 is also 38mm but at 13.9mm tall its a bit chunky.

That's a great looking watch, congrats. I was on their site today looking at the HMS 002, with sector dial. Very reasonably priced.

Fun thread Larry! You mentioned that this was coming so I was anticipating a thread.

I'm liking the styling of any Balric I've seen featured on the Forum by members and your new chronograph does not disappoint.

The Forum has a lot to answer for the way it persists in cranking up my "wanter button."

You are no help at all in turning it back down by posting your new arrival.

Nice! I now really regret not getting the LE version that came with the stopwatches.

Congratulation with your good looking new chrono.
I was looking at the brand when I searched for a new dive watch for holiday use.
I think they produce some attractive watches to a fair price.

😗 ….Most of my collection is the result of too much enabling time spent on OF. I’ve got a hard stop on acquisitions and a resolve to sell. This watch scratches the Nina and Newman itch without breaking the bank. I could not resist.

You really can’t go wrong with the Aquascaphe line.

I was pretty close to go with the Aquascaphe titanium.
Ended up with the new Tornek Rayville 660... to scratch my itch 😉

When i look at these, they look fabulous…but then i get stuck at ‘panda or reverse panda’ … i know, silly right … how did you choose without seeing in the flesh?

Well, it was a bit of a challenge for sure. I already own a Reverse Panda Gallet Pilot. I sold my reverse panda Wakmann Triple last year as I just wasn’t that into it. This is my fifth Baltic and I trust them when it comes to finishing and quality. What I like about the “panda dial” is the “Newman Daytona ” / UG Sports Compax Vibe as I’ve said previously. I’m pretty sure a fair number of the initial buyers ordered both.
