How is everyone liking these after a few months? Where does it fit into your collection/rotation? I’m wondering if this would replace my SKX013. which I love and is my go to beater/beach/pool watch. Wondering if this could be that but with the added bonus of some vintage flare that I miss when rocking the SKX.
When its out of the safe, its very hard to put it away. Its a watch that makes me more comfortable with the thought of chopping the collection down to its core. It’s a solid daily beater. It’s a real sports watch so its been on/in the water a lot. Its too nice to go cycling with, that’s what my military style Timex is for. The vintage look scratches a lot of itches for me, such as the need for an SM300. Its been running like a champ. For $700 its just an amazing value. I have been surprised at the wrist time it has logged.

WOW, that is one hell of a recommendation! I am officially on the hunt!

Still loving mine too! Not wearing it quite as much as I should do but I'm now honeymooning with my FOIS so sure it will come back in to rotation soon - before I bought the FOIS I was wearing the Baltic pretty much everyday.

It's a great watch, nice and solid and it's even had a few comments from people too which is rare for any watch tbh!

I can't fault it in anyway and it's almost too good to be a beater which is what I bought it for.

Yeah, that was my one concern - is it too nice? But honestly even with my SKX, I take great care of my watches. Sure, it sees water but nothing crazy. I’ve had it for a few years and can’t find a scratch on it.

I have the luck to look at it everyday because it's my gf's daily beater. Sometimes I take her arm for a minute just to take a look at it a minute or two. It's a very nice watch. She gets a lot of compliments also. People see the fantastic bezel. So go baltic!

How comfortable is the tropic strap? Is it worth waiting to find one that comes with the bracelet? I really appreciate that they’re doing a modern BOR, just wondering if it’s worth the extra time and money? It does look like they are starting to sell them separately for about $100, but they’re out of stock. Thinking for my purposes might not need the bracelet... but it’s pretty!

The bracelet is fantastic.. also what makes this watch a total steal for the price. I don’t care to use the very nice rubber strap.

I completely echo the comments of @Larry S - it's a winner on every level. Visual appeal, vintage look but with practical wear-ability as an everyday piece, price point, BOR bracelet, etc. It's stealing wrist time from a number of my other watches, particularly the vintage ones that I have to be extra cautious with in the hazy, hot and humid Philly weather in the summertime. Go for it!

The tropic strap looks great and being rubber it just repels water so great for swimming etc. Saying that it has quite an extreme taper and the holes aren't in quite the right places for me so it's either far too loose or just a touch too tight - with leather etc it would settle in over time and loosen up a bit but I don't see that happening with this. I've switched it to a canvas strap for day to day use which is slightly less practical but more comfortable... When I go on holiday in a few weeks I'll switch back to the rubber though for sure... I suppose I just need to loose a bit of weight 😀

It's amazingly well built and feels very solid so I don't think you need to worry about it being 'too nice' for a beater - I reckon it will stand up to a fair amount of use/abuse! I'm looking forward to it aging a bit tbh.

Love the bracelet on this new arrival. Also ordered the tropical strap from their site. I think they are nicely priced.

She arrived and she’s a beaut! Just getting to know each other but so far the dial is heavenly, the bezel action is surprisingly great, and the BOR bracelet is amazing!

Worth the wait. It’s a gangsta - looks around my watch box and says “oh hi Rolex, Omega, IWC, step aside that wrist is mine!”
