I know it's only a Golf, but I know you can't get them. So....butt shot.

I can't guess what you dream about. But for myself each time I scrolled to the next photo I changed my mind. But I'd go first for the T35, providing it's not a Tecla, and then after a lot of consideration for the 30/98 -- but not after finding out it's a replica! OK, the Birdcage and please don't tell that's a replica too.

There are no replicas allowed. These are all genuine cars and all the drivers I've spoken to are great enthusiasts and happy to talk to spectators.
The Vauxhall driver told me of finding various bits, starting with the chassis, then engine, then engine parts etc until after many years it was completed. He had a problem on the day, being unable to engage 1st gear which is a real problem when all gears were designed to be used but with help at the start still managed all runs and id one of my dream cars. I will cheat on the other one as it would include all Italian cars, they were all beautiful, sounded fabulous and went very nicely. Oh and I'll include the Bugatti in that one as well.

Love seeing barn finds, it’s amazing these still turn up regularly. Worked on restoring a few back in the 80s & 90s and was always surprised how such great cars got left in garages, etc. for so many years. At least these cars are mostly kept in original condition so they act as time capsules.

Spotted yesterday night while taking a random drive in the middle of the Vallée de Joux After another hard day at work... I had to stop to snap a pic. 😲

It's standing out alright. And not in a good way for me lol.
Too much chrome stripping, and that shield on the back...
Love the ducktail though!

Found this little nugget of history while looking at my old neighborhood (circa 2011) on Google maps. It made me smile.

I respect the bottom one but the top one is magical.
If someone where to ask me to pick ONE car to have, out of ANY car in the world I'm 99.999% sure "F40" would be the words out of my mouth in under a millisecond.

Yes, I believe God runs one as his daily.

Difficult to dispute Brad, but with my intermittent liking for the Baroque, (especially as seen in that back panel treatment), I just wonder if its uncle, the 288 GTO Evo, is on a par?

Runner up, and much simpler, is this little charmer:

I think in terms of daily drivability, I'd have to go with a 959 Komfort. An F40 would definitely be top of the list for weekend blasts though, or a 288 GTO but not the Evoluzione.

Gonna have to re-install the stock wheels on the F40 though.... those don't look quite right with the angular style IMO

Daily drivability be dammed lol.
And as much as I love the OEM Speedlines, I'm a sucker for any LM style wheel.

yup. If you were a kid in the 80's, there is just one car - that very one.

I used to say that, but then I daily-drove / only-car'd an S2000, which is only slightly more practical than an F40. That kind of experience changes a man.... Makes you dream of ES350s and jealous of people driving Mercedes-Benz SUVs lmao (and I don't like those!)

@davy26 @abrod520

Great to see acknowledgment of the best Ferrari of all time the 288 GTO. Most of the power of the F40 in the ultimate version of one of Ferrari's best looking designs.

45 (!) years since I last drove one of these, but good porn's efficacy doesn't fade!
