Mercedes 300 SLR... the best racing car ever made and the first capable of 300 KM/Hr in 1955... imagine if the 1955 Le Mans crash didn't happen, Mercedes would be at the top of all racing results... as they left racing for 35 years between June 1955 and early 1989

I spotted this a couple of weeks ago in a village just down the road from me. The first one I have ever seen on the road. Needless to say it sounded amazing.

I’ve heard 2 with straight pipes in person and a few stock. The stock sounds better to me.

I have only heard stock in person...only videos of straight pipes.
Regardless, you are still right saying that it is one of the best sounding cars out there. Whatever exhaust is on there hah.
