Just got this and have been riding the wheels off it. A 91 FXRS, a Harley that handles 😲. It makes a nice change from the Fat Boy. Just need to remove a few surplus pieces of chrome work to improve its looks and were good to go.

Got talking to the owner of this beauty earlier today and he told me the history of the car and manufacturer.
It was made by SS Cars of Coventry and is an SS100 with the 100 referring to the top speed. Following the end of the Second World War and the Nazi connotations of the initials SS the company then changed their name to Jaguar.

Further to the other SS100 updates, the SS100, was a British 2 door sports car, which was originally a 2.5L, which was then replaced by a 3.5L model. The 100 designation was used to signify that the car was able to reach 100mph, which was almost unimaginable in the mid 1930's,

I know hyperbole. Not a cheap plate though. The 288 is my favorite of that line. Sure the F40 is great the F50... But the understatedness of the 288. There is one here "NOT MPI"

Went to Brooklands today and saw this I showed the picture to my father who could remember having one in the early 50's with a pickup rear end on it😵‍💫. He used it to get potatoes from the wholesale market.
Said it would still do 100mph though.

Any RWB enthusiasts in here? Nakai-san was in Malaysia over the last four days to work on #06 build, and also to rebuild #05. Some pics...

I want to like that cab. Gulf colors and Magnus's wheels. Just can't though.

An enduring pleasure for me the Porsche marque, and, while I'm most keen on standard production examples, I do like the Gulf livery, evocative of course of the ultimate Porker: 1970/71 917. There are very few 'brands' that engage my loyalty, but Porsche and Omega certainly do.

BMWs from my era - they were very exciting in the 70s. These are seen at Lydden in the 90s:

Soon after we re-launched Jeep in the UK in 1993, we also got an allocation of Vipers. We ran some events at race tracks to demonstrate the cars to our dealers and some press people. I took this pic at Oulton Park. Three Vipers, circulating nose to tail there, was quite a sight, (and sound)!
