An appropriately named thread for the great man. So many designers would be happy with just one of his cars on their CV. He had so many! The word legend is thrown around quite lightly these days but this man deserves the title, no question.
Just picked up my 2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition. It might just look like a Corolla but the GR is far from it. Using the running gear off the GR Yaris, a Homologation Special made to compete in the WRC. The world's most powerful production 3 cylinder engine, 31% more powerful than the previous, the BMW i8. The G16E-GTS runs 25.2 PSI of boost and three piston oil squirters per cylinder. The forged carbon roof is a composite material that debuted on the $2.92 million Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in 2010. A revised floor fits Toyota's first all new AWD system in over 20 years that is capable of sending 70% of the power to the rear. Featuring the largest brakes ever fitted to a production Toyota, larger than those found on the 997 Turbo. An additional 349 spot welds and 9 feet of adhesive are added over a standard Corolla to stiffen the chassis.
A wrap helps them a bit. There are 2 in my neighborhood - one matte black and the other matte white.
I've seen another one around that was a weird matte iridescent. I've yet to see one unwrapped.
Well this is exceptional in the sense that it is an exceptionally weak and half-arsed badge engineering job on some Chrysler/Jeep pile of cheaply made crap.

No thanks no more boring ugly pieces of SUV crap polluting this thread….they aren’t exceptional, they are common dull and bloody hideous,
SUV stands for Stupid Ugly Vehicle
