Gone but not forgotten…09 MT, DD, put 150k miles (not km) and found out that as a .1, even with the Mezger, not worth a mint…

Beautiful! Cabs generally go for less than the coupes, but their depreciation curve has also sharply reversed since you probably sold yours - a good manual coupe for instance has gone from about $80k just a couple years ago to 100-110k US at this point. Which is why I snapped mine up before it got out of reach

I have recently decided that I thought it would be awesome to do a big turbo 996 or 997 cab lol.
A flame spitting, JDM wheel wearing monster - all with the top down.

Two of my past muscle cars (the first one is 1970 Old School Muscle and the second one is 2007 New Generation Muscle). I was the typical USA muscle car guy even back in High School. I drove a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner in high school.

My 1970 Plymouth GTX. 440CID six barrel carbs auto trans & Dana 60 Rear with Air Grabber Hood.

My 2007 Redfire 427R Roush Mustang 4.6L Supercharged 5 spd. One of only 58 Redfire 427R Roush Mustangs they built in 2007.

I'm still not feeling these four lines in a block headlights that Porsche is trying to put on everything. It was fine on the Taycan, but now that its spreading across the model range and on all the race cars it's looking a bit odd.

In my mind this is the 2nd most important car Porsche has done this century, after the Cayenne. For the first time in 20 years it is possible to buy a car from Porsche that is capable of winning races overall. JDC Miller was the first of the customer teams and will be buying a second car. Customer racing can only improve Porsche as a brand.

I will say I do kinda like the way the DRLs on the new 911s make it clear from a distance what's coming towards you. Though as always, I think they should differentiate the Boxster/Cayman more from the 911 from the front. Maybe that'll happen with the new electrified generations coming.

Well, the RS Spyder was available to customers and on narrower twistier tracks was regularly winning over the heavy diesel Audi LMP1s of the era. But I agree, customer (but factory-supported) racing is such an innate part of Porsche motorsport history

Actually something in me quite likes that…so long as they used Benz bits and not Toyota, Nissan or worse… Mitsubishi rubbish! ::stirthepot::😁

It needs a nice AMG 6.3, not some horrid smelly rattling diesel

Mate with an angle grinder, blue tongue spanner ( oxy-acetylene torch ) or a plasma cutter if you wanna be fancy, and you possess the skills, will and determination a 6.3 will fit like a finger in a bum hole!
😲
Mind you getting the authorities to register it may be a challenge!

I’m wondering if they didn’t shove the body on a SWB G-wagon chassis

Yeppers…my Mustang buddies were NOT impressed that I drove my daily driver Ford Police Interceptor to the local Friday night cruise…

…and they were NOT impressed that I wore my 1861 Moonwatch on its Omega presentation box NASA strap…

Saw my first GT4RS out in the wild yesterday. Pretty nifty. Didn't peak the interior, but the outside was a decent spec.

Gets a big tick for clear glass but immediately negated by the black wheels. Like the blue though.

Not sure if it was Shark Blue or not. Never seen that color in person but if it is in fact Shark Blue, it is very close to Miami Blue.
But judging by the carbon fiber bits it has the Weissach Package as well as PCCB's.
As spec'd (from what I saw) that was a $200k Cayman! Crazy lol.

Yep, quite sure that car is Shark Blue. Miami Blue has a few more greenish hues in there and is a bit lighter as you can see below:
