Automatic Seamaster Chronometer

Hello everybody! I'm very new to all this and I would really appreciate all help I could get. I came across this watch and I can't figure out if it's legit or not even though I like the looks of it. Seller states that it's a Bumper Automatic Chronometer movement.

Movement Omega Chronometer calibre 352 nr. 12672879. Adjusted Five (5) Positions and Temperatures.
Shouldn't Chronometer be on the dial if so? What would a reasonable price be?

Thanks in advance, learned so much already from this forum and hopefully I'll have my own omega soon!

It should read "Chronometre" on the dial.
That's what I thought, thank you. Is the watch fake or could the information about the movement be wrong?

Dial could have been replaced, or the the movement could have been replaced.

Even with the dial replaced it's a nice watch in very good condition. Of course a collector would want the correct dial, but if your purpose is to get a good looking watch to wear, this one can be a great candidate.

The replaced dial will mean a substantial drop in value, though

I've seen the sales advert too, seems like a nice piece - if you don't mind the redial.

If you, like @marturx above suggest, just want to get a nice looking watch to wear, I'd probably find one that was a little cheaper, though.

The case may is right , the movement is right. Most likely is that the dial has been replaced with one in better condition than the original. Not sure this watch should not be a 2720

Update from the seller. Says it's an early piece and therefore doesn't have it on the dial. "Adjusted and tempered 5 positions" is on the movement which is for chronometer.

I'm looking for a nice watch but I'm not a collector, yet. Thank you all for the help, means a lot for a newbie!

The example listed earlier by @balaja is 1 million earlier than his and still has it - to the best of my knowledge, so does all others.

100%

I liked the watch better before the seller lied about it.

@luftburen93, I have read the advert, but won't post it here - if you decide on not going after the watch, you could link to it here and let the other members have a look. Perhaps there is more BS that would be helpful for you to be educated on 😀
