I was advised to come and post here from Reddit, long story short I received this watch as a gift from my uncle and I've gotten mixed results online, then went on Reddit and they advised me to come here so here I am. Any help id and authentication as much as possible would be a great help.

Have you got Any more pictures, from various angles and ideally in natural light.

From what i can see, most of it looks right to me for a 2915

great uncle. you've just got good guide on speedmaster101 up there. two important clues you can initially check thru a trusted friend-watch repair shop near you - the serial no. and caseback marking references, to confirm your suspicion. you might have an interesting piece and thereafter, omega s.a. or speedmaster expert can help you from there. though there's a sign of refinishing on caseback. ignore any private message for now since you made it a public post.
