looks like a c-type case with a screw in back, which is obviously odd. any inputs? not everything on omega's site is definitive and I'd like to get some opinions.https://www.ebay.com/itm/183822783915?ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
If you use Google Images to look at photos of c-case Constellations, you will see many with screw-in backs.
Here are pics - I don’t see anything odd about it, in fact it seems like a nice value for $650 with the bricks bracelet.
Case has been heavily polished. Price is just OK for an example in decent condition with no movement photos. How big of a gambler are you? gatorcpa
Thanks for the input guys, sorry for not posting photos on here. And i was under the impression c cases were all press in, as stated i couldnt find much conclusive on omegas vintage catalog on their site or a c case that had a screw in back.
Would have helped if I read the description Yeah, unless you have 2-3 links available, this would need to be worn on a strap and $200 of the value just dropped off- not such a value anymore.
I was under the impression that all “C” case Constellations have screw in backs. May we see pictures of the watches to which you refer? gatorcpa
What pages did you look at? Every c-case Constellation I can find has a screw-in back. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-constellation-c-st-168-0019 https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-constellation-c-st-168-0017
I used the filters available and searched constellations with metal cases and screw in casebacks and got nothing that matched this  the one i did pull up that was a c type from '71 with a 564 cal said press in type case.
Fortunately, in spite of me being 6'2 and 210, i have a 6.5 inch wrist, ill see if i can source some links at some point though
