IMO avoid...
I think it's a redial, and one where the markers have been polished to death, quite an extraordinary thing to see. Also the case and esp. the lugs are quite polished. Crown is also wrong.

Welcome.

As above, it is already £600 bid - £400 past it’s ‘good price’ imo!

Look in the eBay sold listings for the price range.
IMHO, the UK eBay market 5** movement Seamasters and Genèves has rocketed in the last 12-18 months so OF members may be underestimating what the general going rate is.
I’ve bought this month and paid more than I anticipated.
You can still get a nice watch at a good price but you’ll have to spend a bit of time looking.

Understood thankyou.

What kind of price range should I be looking at and any other factors to consider?

It would be great to see your watch you found and what the price was if you don’t mind - just trying to work out what a good deal looks like at the moment
