Hello all,
A suspicious Omega Chronometer Ref. CK 2410 sold yesterday on ebay.
In case the buyer is a member of OF I want to post a heads up...
He could return the watch as the seller accepts returns.
Case and movement are correct and an EoA proves that.
But the crucial issue is the dial.
This dial is well known from ref. 2242 and 2337 (case cross ref. with 2254) which is 1 mm smaller in diameter than a correct dial of 2410.
You can easily spot that the black area outside the second´s track is too wide.
Furthermore, and this is the dead give away, is the added wording "Chronometer" below "Omega" - wrongly spelled and added later in white colour - obvious to see...
So if the buyer is reading OF or is a member here be advised to return the watch if you are unhappy when you find out the truth about the watch.
BTW it was listed as "all original" with "original dial".
