I was able to fill another empty slot in my Zodiac collection, A Olympos. I have always liked this case style ahead of its time. I think that some others Hamilton and other made these as well. This one is the selling photo, will be a bit until I receive it. From about 1964 or so.

About 34mm depending on where it is measured. It will need a new cyrstal, will most likely replace the band but it could be the original.

Yep that is the big one, like the Super Sea Wolf. Very hard to find that one, I don't think they made very many Hi-Beat Sea Wolfs.They also made the standard Olympos in the Hi-Beat SST model.

Regular, SST and later SST, plus women's versions, the coffin Sea Wolf, plus a Favre Leuba Moonraider for good asymmetric measure.

Wow............a BMW dial......I've flipped a 2005 Tag Heuer Link chrono with subtle BMW dial 2 months ago.

It does look a bit like a rondel. The spinning propeller LOL Current motorcycles include a pair of BMW's.

I was asked for some pictures, so here are a few. The band is not original, a Spiedel in 10Kt GF white gold. Normally I do not like expansion bands but this one is not bad. It matches the SS watch case very well and is actually quite close to what the original band would have been. I was surpised at the watches accuracy, less than 1 minute off after 14 days. Not bad at all for an unknown service history. Smaller by today standards, 36mm depending on where on the case one measures, and 10mm thick so a rather thin watch.

As cool as the case shape is, the quadrant dial makes that watch even cooler.

This Olympos is an early one, Olympos under the Zodiac and automatic under the hands. Most you see are Olymos Automatic under the dial. Seems to be more gold capped ones as opposed to SS as well. Non hacking and no quickset date. They were available in the 'Mystery" dial version as well. This one is from about '62 to '64. No serial number data base for Zodiac's that i know of.
