I hate to be picky, but I couldn't see an ancient navigator or astronomer lugging that tower clock around.
An astrolabe is a portable celestial observation and/or navigation device.
The clock in Prague is an astronomical clock. I have a photo of it somewhere, mostly showing the back of people's heads.
It wasn't as bad as this the day we were there, but it's getting worse apparently.
Went there in 2006 to visit a young lass. Saw the clock and there was no one around....Many forget it works 24hrs a day
Ahh the mulled wine and roast pork at the Christmas markets.
Found it weird that you had to always pay for a food ticket at the night clubs and you always got a feed in the ticket price which wasn’t bad food in many clubs.
( probably just disco biscuits nowadays )
