I hate to be picky, but I couldn't see an ancient navigator or astronomer lugging that tower clock around. An astrolabe is a portable celestial observation and/or navigation device. The clock in Prague is an astronomical clock. I have a photo of it somewhere, mostly showing the back of people's heads.
It wasn't as bad as this the day we were there, but it's getting worse apparently. https://www.traveller.com.au/prague...-communism-is-getting-sick-of-tourists-h1jprz
Went there in 2006 to visit a young lass. Saw the clock and there was no one around....Many forget it works 24hrs a day Ahh the mulled wine and roast pork at the Christmas markets. Found it weird that you had to always pay for a food ticket at the night clubs and you always got a feed in the ticket price which wasn’t bad food in many clubs. ( probably just disco biscuits nowadays )
