I came across this piepan 168.005 and i'm in doubd about the hourmarker at 3 'clock.
I've read some posts that there are configurations that don't have it.
Can someone please clarify for this example?
Its a 2036xxxx serial if it helps.

Thanks a lot!

Indeed some of these came with hour markers at 3 and some did not. I personally do not know if there’s a rhyme or reason to it, someone much smarter than I should be along soon.

This^

This one had a lume dot you can see remnant of it.

And this ^

Note- the early 20m serial means that whilst the dial had lume, the watch hadn’t (correctly) acquired Ts yet.

So if it would have lost a marker like this one, would there really be a hole in the dail?

Definitely would have had a mounting hole if there was a missing index.
