Hi... New to this forum, stumbled across it while trying to identify some of my Dad's watches. Unfortunately, at the moment I can't open up the case on the one I can't identify. I'd be worried about scratching the case because I don't know how to pop it off... I used the duct tape method for the screwback.

Omega, unknown model, with small seconds / sub-seconds (first two photos). I tried searching this forum and all over Google, but nothing is coming up for photos that match. It runs.

Omega Seamaster 30 (rest of the photos) - assuming it's from 1962 based on the inside number (135.003-62-SC, 19804466). It runs.

The other watches he has (not shown) are: Tissot Soronous PR-516 (first model 1972), Doxa Anti-Magnetigue (unknown model/year), 3APЯ (unknown model/year), Poljot (unknown model/year), Caravelle Quartz (Bulova) (unknown model/year)

Hi @markdub and welcome to the forum. The first watch has a snapback case. If you are worried about scratching the case, your local watchmaker should be able to open if for you. If you want to try your own hand at it, look for a small gap somewhere between the caseback and the midcase. Try levering a thin flat blade into that small gap (a razor blade often works) and use a gentle twist to snap off the caseback. All of the model information you are seeking will be on the inside of that caseback, just as it is on your Seamaster 30.

I would find independent watchmaker with Omega parts account and get a movement service for the Seamaster 30 , cleanup without polishing case, polish or replace crystal. Then you can wear it. It’s a nice vintage watch with reliable movement.
The other one has very damaged dial so I would keep as keepsake but not spend the $500 for service as you can’t improve the dial. Just keep as heirloom and wear the other.
Post the after pictures.
