On the contrary, they may happily pay more for a restored watch. So yes, it would be very unrealistic trying to sell that watch for $1000 on this forum but on ebay... who knows.

You can not list anything to sell here until to you have at least 200 posts (see Rules). In my opinion this forum isn't the best place to try to sell your watch, you may get better offers on ebay. Personally, I would not contemplate paying more than $250 for your watch IF I was to contemplate buying it at all, which I don't.
