The fabulous Bullocks Wilshire building (formerly a very high-end department store), in Los Angeles, now home to Southwestern Law School.
This building should double as a museum. Is it accessible to the public?

Beautiful pictures @divetime, thanks for sharing them.
At that rate looks like you might reach those 200 posts by the end of the thread 😉

That rectangular Longines looks beautiful, it would be great to see a frontal view of the whole watch -- oh and "dibs"!! 😁

Gruen Orne in 14K white gold with red, blue, gold, and black enamel, circa 1929. I wish Gruen had made a men's version of this watch!

Stunning 👍
Is the second one yours?
I would not mind a ladies' watch like this - or course being a woman is an advantage here 😀

It was at one point, it has now passed into the hands of another collector who gifted it to his wife.

Thank you yes I m Art Deco Fan. All these nice rectangular watches are not high in demand since everybody seems to collect only big diameter “sporty” watches.
I will post the Türler Longines later - have to find the picture first.

I used to go to Miami frequently for work and as you may know there is a large concentration of Art Deco buildings there, especially in South Beach. I borrowed this image from google:

I’m hoping that some of our members from the area will chime in now.

I know the Art Deco hotels are there, but avoid that area. Choking traffic and $20 parking spaces make South Beach a tourist only area.

I much prefer the buildings in LA and Chicago shown here anyway.
