I know little about cal. 321s in general and even less about vintage Tissot - so how does this look to you?

What are Cal. 321s going for at the moment? Would like to have this as a "cheap" entry to the secluded ranks of 321-owners :D

    Any views about pricing?

A Speedmaster 321 - movement only - would cost more than that watch... ;)

I don't know Tissot very well in terms of parts. Looks like it's in decent condition, maybe a bit rounded on the edges. Dial looks good. Love the radial subdial.

Only Omega's movements are christened "321". Lemania had their own caliber system. Still the same movement, though. Just not the same name. And slightly different finishing, usually.

Only 321 movements go for a bunch. The Lemania variants don't sell nearly as well, parts wise. Many times less.

Sure, I just didn't know what the comparative Tissot was called, just that it was some relative of the CH27 and obviously not as well finished, IMO.

Seems that the price is pretty resonable, compared to offerings on chrono24.com, the dial, however, is one of the less appealing varieties.

Thanks for all the the feedback!

same as early Omega 321. Tissot will have their own designation but still a very nice movement.
If you decide to pass on this let me know please.;)

    I'll probably make a cheeky offer ;)

I would like to know if anyone here has an opinion about the dial? It seems to be in very good condition, which, in my (limited) experience, often points to it having been redialed

I disagree, I like it. Too many similarities to my Lemania and that Tissot, I've seen Tissot's with both fonts...

    Look at the subdials...if it's a redial it's a damn good one!

Will do immediately. Have sent him an offer, looks as if there are a few others who have done the same, so I'm guessing he'll hold out for someone to offer the full amount...

Makes me feel good about my worthless 105.012 Speedy with a crappy case:thumbsup:

I really like this watch, and cannot really speak to the dial, but for the money, especially at a cheeky offer, could be a pretty sweet deal.

I like the idea of collecting "lesser", and I mean that in name only, watches brands that have the very similar movements to the Omegas we all love.
