You go for a look at the top of one very slippery slope and before you know it !!!!

🤔 Well that explains a lot; the out pouring of watches from Scotland of late, the anonymous late night phone call with only a plaintive bugling of a dog on the other end, and Omega boutiques giving out free uggys with purchases. It all makes sense now

They come in pairs don´t they?
Both these Zenith watches bought from two different sellers within one hour. 😵‍💫
Zenith 220 S cal 2531 came with box and I do not remember seeing too many of them around?!
The black dial one I have no clue as what caliber is inside.😉

Thanks to @repoman for inviting me to the Omega boutique 2.5 weeks ago. This is when he bought his GSOTM. While there, I tried on numerous other Omegas, including the one pictured below. In any case, one thing led to another and I purchased this today. Bought it used.

On another note, called Nesbits to see about getting this serviced, only to learn they cannot service the 8500 movement. The watchmaker indicated he had training from Omega on this movement, but Omega does not make parts available for this movement to others. Seemed odd given that these movements have been out 5+ years.

I think there's a need for a new iPhone accessory, the iVelcro Pad, a gadget that allows to keep your phone attached to the roof of you car to prevent potential catastrophic damage to your phone when driving away..... my next stop was Best Buy for a new iPhone.. Needless to say, I did not get much as trade for my slightly mutilated phone.

Me too, but already three watches into the New Year, so will have to enjoy it vicariously. 😉

Congrats!! I was attracted, tempted, dissuaded, but pleased to see that someone from the OF family took it home! Love that dial.
