I’m still learning but I took a gamble on a black dial with only poor eBay seller pictures to go on. Arrived yesterday, a little clean and polish and It’s came alive. Runs great. It’s not purchase of the year but to my current eye I think it’s a nice well worn honest watch that’s maybe had it’s glass and crown replaced, and just needs a service and some TLC. All comments welcome as it’s all part of the learning process.

Fancy lug 18k Zenith with date feature between 4 and 5 o’clock.

Those lugs are fancy! I'm not a fan of the location of the date but the watch looks great.

Really nice two-tone champagne dial 🥰

That is really lovely. The condition is amazing!

Bought a new Railmaster a couple of weeks ago, not for me but for Mrs. Cheers, her first Omega 😀

The original denim leather strap is quite ridiculous, so it was immediately exchanged with a summer blue nato.

Really like how the dial looks 😎

Unusual design, lesser known make, but 18K case (screw back) and approved chronometer 😀.

This beautiful Seamaster 166.009 with arrowhead markers arrived yesterday from Tokyo. I’ll be replacing the crystal, which has a small crack, with an OEM Omega crystal without the cyclops. Otherwise, the watch is in outstanding original condition. The Omega BOR was a nice bonus.

I´ve always had a weak spot for Pierce. They have such elegant designs and beautiful inhouse movements. They seemingly put more capital into the product than marketing, which unfortunately maybe why they disappeared.

Well, while that about the inhouse movements is true for earlier ones, the above (perhaps about 1965) has an ETA 2742 "only".

I was more amazed to see this one having a 18 K screw-back case. That seems to be really rare, but the case clearly is original to movement and dial.

I like this reference and have been looking for the no-date version. I think I found it in this recent purchase although no photos of the inside were included. We will see when it arrives.

P.S. I have had a couple of 166.009 examples, and neither had those nice arrowhead markers.

Bought this beauty new about a month ago - The lovely Omega Planet Ocean. I wear it everyday.
