Had to try this on when I saw it and my god it’s so nice on the wrist! 36mm fits my small wrist so much better than my 40mm watches and it just feels perfect. Feels good to finally scratch that blue dial itch because the VC Overseas is really quite out of my reach for now

So a buddy of mine recently decided he’d like a vintage Omega and asked me for help. As much bling as possible, ideally an automatic, max budget of ~300€. Not exactly an easy task, but I’m quite pleased with the result:

Agreed, you ticked all the boxes quite well. Nice find! It would be hard to do better than that.

Nice! These are among my favorite entry level Omegas, they’re just so damned good for the money!

Yeah, absolutely. I like those late 5xx-series automatic movements and in open auctions on eBay, for example, Genèves with them can be picked up for sub-400€ every now and then. So much bang for the buck.

Unfortunately, the buddy of mine isn’t so sure he likes the C-shape cases all that much. I’m now tempted to just keep it myself as a beater, even though it might be a little to nice for that. 🤦
