After 26 years of wanting, wishing and hoping...my wonderful wife acquired my dream watch...the Omega Seamaster Professional 300m Automatic 2531.80 worn by Pierce Brosnan in each of his movies as James Bond (with the exception of Goldeneye which was a quartz model)...laser, explosive timer and grappling hook not included! Happy 50th birthday to me...and probably each one from here on out!

New strap arrived for a new watch, I kinda regret letting this one go, decided to sell everything except the Constellations as it was getting too much :/

At least I have 4 more days to spend with it before it finds its new owner 😁

New Zodiac LE GMT from Topper. Love the blue for the even days and red for the odd. Quick release bracelet is a very nice addition and of course anything Pepsi catches my eye. The sunburst dial is gonna pop, could not avoid this great summer watch.

A "barn find" bought as defect not running 😀

Omega Seamaster (pre De Ville) ref. 14745 1 SC, cal. 552 from 1960 just back from service running fine again 😀

BOR or strap?

That’s very nice. Sadly, no barns where I live 🙁

Like @KevinR1971 it was my 50th earlier this year. I crossed the 2531.80 off my list for my 49th so for my big 5-0 I finally bought the 145.022-71 I've been looking for. Landed just a few days ago, came on a typical 1171 but moved it to an 1175 with very appropriate date code, just a few months earlier than the watch EOA date. Its a beauty IMO, I really like the fade-to-blue bezel.

I picked up these two watches.
Loving them as they are both a departure from the norm for me.

I made an offer back in January adjusted for what I thought would be fair and reasonable which was declined at the time though we left off on pleasant terms.

I reckoned that had it sold at or near the asking price, two people would be happy and one would be pleased for the two parties.

Three months later and I kicked my offer up by 10% and we still have two satisfied parties 😀

First purchase of 21 for me today , gone old school with the SKX09J1. I’ve thought long & hard about this purchase during lockdown & having owned several previously but haven’t had one for a few years it seems a good choice for me . A true Seiko classic & I even bought the jubilee just for the rattle it makes on the wrist 👍.
