Latest addition to my vintage collection.
Congrats!
I have always loved those Seamasters, and that BOR is great! Whats the ref on that clasp?

No Ref number on clasp, asked the Q before buying and after research not all bracelet numbered.

eBay just informed me that my BIN offer was accepted. The watch will arrive next week, but I'm including an image stolen from the web as a hint:

It needs a new crystal but otherwise seems to be in good condition, sold by the original (sailor) owner.

My dad and I, Wednesday Night Racing in a one-class "Townie." Sadly both my dad and the boat, "High Hope," are gone. That is a Tag Calibre 36 on my wrist. If I'd had a Memosail I surely would have won that heat...

I got tired of waiting for the retail price; I paid a premium. Makes no sense. But I love it

Whoa! Care to share more info about this? Thanks!

It's a Heuer 73633 (manual-wind 7736 movement) that has a blank dial which may have been a manufacturer blank at some point, perhaps headed for one of the private-label "poor man's" Monacos sold by Benrus or Dugena etc. - the hands may also be, but they're not for a Heuer. It's sort of like a "running project" if you will 😉 I'll probably take my time looking for a dial & hands, or may offer it to someone who feels like having some cheap fun with a Monaco! But for now I'm enjoying the crazy style of the vintage Monaco 😁

So here is my first Omega purchase which I got in late June - a Seamaster Chronograph 300. I have to get it serviced, there is not much of a clean-up to do but it is running fast - gaining about 20 minutes her hour. 😲

The watch came with a brochure and a box and needs a replacement crystal.

After umming and aahing, I yesterday took the plunge on last year's Citizen Fugu in all green with steel bracelet from Singapore - can't wait for it to arrive. And considering an all-lume dial one of this year's model if I like the green one enough.

I bought a Memosail off FleaBay, it was a BiN and the seller (original owner) accepted my offer. It appeared to need a crystal, so I was expecting to have a service and crystal installed. Well, it arrived today and is much better than I had imagined. 10 minutes with Polywatch (timed precisely by the Valjoux 10-minute countdown complication!) and it's wearing beautifully.

It is aluminum, I believe, as the watch is very light, and a quick hand polish had the cleaning cloth turning black. It came with the instructions and warranty information, but no box. I put a plain NATO on it, and will start looking for the perfect strap.

I love it even if (or because) it's an odd-ball!
