Thank goodness the buying has slowed down a bit, lately, but I did commit to two in the same day!

The first one just came to my door from edit:Belgium...

You may have seen it already in another of our sub-forums, but I just fell in love with the dial.

These are my first photos straight outa the box:

Fab Suisse!

She’s a 9,95x,xxx serial (~1944) ref.2179, cal.30T2 SC.

I certainly need to thank @bernarddevos for all he did for this watch. He and the watch are definite keepers!

Most recently purchased a 16600 Rolex SeaDweller in NOS condition. IMO these are highly underrated as far as the Rolex market goes.

While newly into the idea of collecting watches and newly married, my wife bought me a Stuhrling Automatic. It was a rose gold skeleton dial that I wore religiously for 8 months before it peter’d out and I had to send it off for a $20 warranty service.

Fast forward a few years down the collecting rabbit hole, and I’m perusing for a GMT to mess around with. My requirements were it needing to be an automatic, not look like a fake Rolex, and not cost very much. I stumbled across this fella - and I’m pretty dang impressed after a day on the wrist.

35 jewel automatic movement kept good time today. I’m guessing it’s a 42mm with a single direction clicking bezel. It’s definitely got a thicker case, but the dial has a nice textured design. I also like that the date isn’t at 3 or replacing any markers, it seems balanced and the lume at night is like a no-date. The bezel is pretty cheesy, both in color and finish. I wore it tearing out water pipes tonight and it clearly scratches easily. Sapphire glass looks nice with the internal second ring (bezel?). I also like that the hands aren’t fake Rolex. Watch also sports a screw down crown and screw style lugs.

Hi all!
Could I please get some help. Just bought this Seamaster 600 Technical dial, 136.011, cal 611. I then reallised that it does not look exactly like the others I find. Dial a bit different and hands without the black lume. Do you think it is cosher?

Well not my normal style or type of watch , but as I’m a 007 fan and it’s a limited edition, plus inexpensive it had to be done.
Yes it’s a Swatch and a bit of fun .its a -
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH 1999 watch . The adi is :
Protecting the world from a nuclear attack? Sounds like a Friday night for Bond. Pierce Brosnan is in for a thrilling adventure as 007 in THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH. This limited edition design features flames reminiscent of the film’s poster on the strap, while the dial burns red echoing the iconic gun barrel.

It has a Case Dimensions of 41mm wide ,9.85mm thickness and a Height of 47.40mm with. 3 bar depth rating. Silicon strap which is very comfortable to wear .Comes with a 2 yr warranty and replacement battery from any swatch dealer. Oh an£ it comes in a neat video case box .

New arrival - the 35mm Conquest Heritage

Having had this watch absolutely no time at all, I’ve swapped both the strap and the buckle.

I’m afraid the black leather strap is not the best quality (IMHO) and the buckle, whilst 'signed', is thin and lightweight. I’ve ordered a rather more substantial signed buckle and fitted a better quality brown grain strap to compliment the gold indices.
