Apologies. Here she is!
The dial is less than adequately cluttered and not busy enough, there is still lots of room left to fill in numeric .........just joking pulling your leg of course , Bummer, I don’t know how to read off the dials .. but congrats she is really exquisitely beautiful

My first Grand Seiko. Ref SBGN247 and limited to 1000 pieces to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9F caliber. The case, dial and hand work is shockingly good for the price point.

There aren't many Grand Seiko outside of the more dressy watches that do anything for me, but that I will admit looks stunning.

Hahaha. Hey, no joke, it is kind of hard to read the time with a quick glance

Damn that’s a handsome beast. I am obsessed with the 9F movement. Sadly its the SS/Gold with the Sapphire Back that calls to me. It refuses to turn up second hand or at anything less than full retail. As stated before I had one in hand in NYC, the credit card was warming up, but Mrs S swooped in.

Picked this Smiths up less than an hour ago for 5 quid , just needs a little clean up . Don't know anything about the brand or any models but I will use the power of Google to swot up on .

You got yourself one great bargain there! Opportunities like that are rare these days. Well done! Really nice early Smiths.

Thank you , I genuinely have no idea of what I've bought . I was in a bric a brac shop looking at some old Beatles 45s & spotted it , thought yet that looks nice & bought both the Beatles singles & the watch .

You got very lucky, I don't actively follow values on the individual Smiths but that looks really nice condition for one of the early ones(you can tell by the non-crown logo, must be early 50's I should think) and don't doubt you'd sell it for £200+ min straight away. No doubt RevO will give you proper info over on MWR, he's well into his Smiths.

You can find some good info on this site too https://www.smithswatches.com/

Ha! Busiest dial out there, but I would have given anything for one of those in flight school and undergrad. Back in the days of "no calculators" in placement testing, you can do some pretty high level math on that bezel (E6B).

This gem is heading to my door after a most pleasant deal with @tmw57

My thanks to Todd for his most pleasant communication, and to OF for making this possible.

That’s very pretty. I wonder where I can see one in the flesh..

Quite pleased with these two recent purchases - 18k Seamaster and 18k Constellation w/ Rail Track dial. Fairly certain that both have solid 18k gold dials.
Wow...just gorgeous!!

Acquired a limited edition Zodiac Aerospace GMT ZO9401 for damn near list. Couldn’t pass up on the deal, and for the price, it’s sharp as hell.
