Just in, this very impressive bracelet to fit my SBDC053. For some odd reason, it's not offer on this reference but only on the black 051 reference. One of the Seiko oddities I guess. I love. Not to get it properly sized..

Where did you get the bracelet from and how much was it, if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve been considering getting one for my SBDC055

After a fair few false starts, I have finally gotten myself a black dialed Constellation.

Not too bad 😀

Decided to go for an Oranges and Lemons mini collection.
Paid the deposit on the new Doxa 300T Poseidon released a few hours ago.

Enough differences for me between this and the Black Lung I purchased late last year.
@Spacefruit 's post in the ultraman thread rings very true about watch companies lack of imagination and relying on the back catalogue, but I feel that the resurrected Doxa have taken a really long time (10 years plus) to get around to producing the watches that everyone actually wanted in the first place.
"Everyone" may actually be an overstatement as I get the impression that the bulk of these recent 300 limited edition series are heading to live in safes for owners that believe the words "collector" and "limited edition" in the way that say Franklin Mint intend them to be 'believed'.

I'm a bit unsure of the lack of spacing of 60 55 50 on the bezel so it ends up looking like a phone number 605550.

Once again Doxa marketing fails to impress:
Contradicting / wrong information on two different pages of their website; Depth Rating, No of pieces etc.
Stupid, fake "By Invitation Only" on the shop page
Late to the party on their own instagram and I still haven't received the promised email direct from them. Gives the impression that they don't really value loyal/prior customers and followers. I had to go to WUS to find the leaked links which has killed more brain cells than I can afford to lose this week.

Still, a happy little desk-diving bunny right now. Just need to stay away from WUS 🤨 during the countdown to the anticipated May shipping.

Bought it like this:

I clean DNA from the watch and bracellet and change plexi (with used one) but watch will need a full service.

Will cape cod and some elbow grease buff out engraving on back or it will need polishing wheel 😁 ? Never did that.

Veeeeeery nice! Such a classy looking watch in black.

I was a bit slow on the DIBS so I will have to get in line 😉
