Well, I didn't really buy this today, but just got it back from my watchmaker. It's a period-correct composite of a ca. 1947 30T2 movement with dial and hands originally from a 2639, and a contemporaneous Dennison case (which was a gift from one of our esteemed forum members, and to whom I owe much gratitude in getting this project completed). This turned out well!

The dial looks nice and original.

Yeah, the hands appear to have the original radium. Thanks, guys.

An 1954 Auricoste Type 20 French Military chronograph was finally landed after some searching and dealing.
Wanted it primarily because of its unique Lemania cal 2240 flyback movement. Just knew I needed one in my collection:).
Nice amount of Wabi-sabi , and otherwise in a very sympathetic looking condition IMHO.
Just have to wait for it to arrive (sellers pics).
