If so, what are you stocking up on?

(I’m actually in for about $100 worth of rice, beans and diapers. Should last two weeks.)

Just curious what other people are thinking here

We have always been prepared with long life food and plenty of bottled water which we rotate through. We have no need to go anywhere so we would be ok for a few months.

I'm stocking up on non-perishables, diapers, paper goods, etc. I've never been a full-on prepper, but have been moving gradually in that direction. Last year, I bought a generator, etc. This has been a good reason to get the food supply up. I'm more worried about my parents (mid 70s) down in FL. They haven't done anything, so called mom and urged her to stock up on non-perishables in case things get hot down there and they don't want to head out to Publix, etc.

Damn I haven’t even considered taking any action like that. Due to my job I usually get a heads up if the governor is planning any emergency protocols, not because I’m special just because I work in a facility with people who would need care. Anyway we have not heard anything yet. I think my state has three reported cases of the virus. I have nothing other than the usual extra we keep around

I hope they do not have any nights where you live... 😁

No prep for us here in the Washington, DC area. We have a lot of dry goods in the pantries and a full freezer. No generator, but I don't think power/ utilities will be an issue.

All the talk above has me worried we may run out of diapers, but if this blows over on less than 30 years hopefully I will not be old enough to need any yet.

I probably should stock up on disposable ear plugs, because if we are holed up at home with our son for any extended period he will drive my wife and I crazy.

I've heard decent Malbec prevents it, so that's being acquired at the weekend by the pallet.

No problemo, dude!

In all seriousness, those of you guys with young children or who are caring for elderly parents do have something to be careful about. But for a normally healthy person like me with no children, I'm honestly not too worried. I've had coughs before, had pneumonia, etc. It's fine

I wish I could find Buffalo Trace where I live. That and Blanton's is always in short supply and disappears as soon as it leaves the truck.

Buffalo Trace is usually on the shelf. Blanton's has been very hard to find. I last found one in November, it's long gone now!

Eagle Rare is another one I can sometimes find and enjoy.

Same, except I don't need the nappies (diapers) as, generally, I try not to shit myself.

I'll be ready to herd the few straggling dazed survivors into my labor camps. Once properly indoctrinated they will be the nucleus of my army of darkness.
We will roam the wastelands in our cut down and up armored sixties muscle cars reaping the spoils of the shattered remnants of civilization.

Living in HK we have alredy gone through this. I can tell you the first things to go were: hand sanitisers, masks, any cleaning supplies, kitchen towels, toilet paper, rice, and tissues.

Not stocking up on anything. There are millions of ways to die. Covid-19 is just one of them. People are just afraid of it because it's new but they will soon get used to the idea that this virus lives among us.

Good tip. Pretty important to keep up my wanking regime. Luckily I have lots of old socks I can use in a pinch.
