Are two tone watches ugly?

Although it certainly isn't my first choice I find that it works well on some vintage designs and it can be beautiful when done tastefully.

I think it's become appropriated by rude finance people but the watch's execution could be nice.

I think there are some that get it right!

I passed on this watch about tens years ago and regret it.

Two tone done right in my opinion.

This is the one, weirdly, which changed my mind; not *quite* two-tone in the classic SS+gold Datejust fashion, but this is the first one that hooked me.

Wear once in a blue moon, but how about a nice two tone quartz Seamaster
Looks nice in the soft candlelight of the late dinner
Next time I will even set it to the correct time

I can appreciate them, especially in photos and on other people's wrists, but I have never really come to love a TT watch personally. Any that I have owned have moved on. My Root Beer 1675 was the closest I came. I loved looking at it and thought it was beautiful, but just never really liked it on my wrist. Go figure.

Some years ago if anyone told me I would buy and wear happily a two-tone watch, I would laugh. But I really like wearing my two-tone Constellation "Manhattan"😉

What a beauty!!
I like two tone dials, and even two tone metals in some (but not all) instances.

With that selection, I’d happily give additional ‘likes’.

If it’s not a two tone jubilee, I don’t want it.... diamonds to taste...

I don't mind.

A lot of people snear at gold filled or gold capped but as long as the gold is thick enough, who cares? Solid gold costs a lot more for something you're going to wear.

Different strokes for different folks. Most people seem to want a black dial and steel case watch. The world is full of so much diversity in the art of watchmaking. Plenty of bi - metal and / or full precious metal watches out there that elevate the watch. I don't own any bi - metal watches, but that's only because I can't own and wear everything.
