Are these replacement seamaster bracelets any good?

Do you mean your bracelet was refinished? Because "polish" literally means "make shiny", and those bracelets are pretty much the opposite of shiny.

Make sure you have a competent watchmaker to do the refinishing. An Omega expert should be able to get it looking nearly new.

yes - i mean refinishing - I had my watch serviced and they did a good job, but there were a few deeper knicks they couldn't 100% fix. I'm wondering if just buying a cheap replacement is a good alternative.

Personal choice, obviously, but I’d stick with an original Omega bracelet with a couple of marks over a £35 replica any day of the week.

Unless I was concerned the bracelet was going to fail and cause me to lose the watch, of course…

The odds of a $40 fake bracelet having the same quality as a real bracelet is low, which means it may of may not fit correctly, the links may or may not fail, the clasp may or may not work properly.

I have no problem putting my expensive watch on $40 leather strap or NATO, but I would never trust it on a similarly priced fake bracelet.

How about replacing just the clasp, as that has the largest scratchable area? Maybe you can even fit one of the new(ish) adjustable ('glidelock' type) clasps, like the 1154.

Are these Seamaster replacement bracelets I see on Etsy any good? I know they aren't official, but are they similar/same quality? My 15 year old bracelet has seen better days and polishing only did an OK job.

Please don't buy fake goods... There are plenty of after-market, non-branded bracelets of decent quality.
