Are there any other ATC owners on here?

Just wondered of there is anyone daft enough about to have one
I recently brought a 1982 Honda 185s which seems mostly complete and original and I must say it's great fun. Spends half its time on two as opposed to three wheels and not something I dare let the kids use but great for riding round the countryside.
I must admit, I brought it because I liked how it looked, having never seen one in real life let alone ridden one I didn't even know how big it would be, or not!.

I can now add trikes to things I search for in the category of most definitely not needed!!

New three wheeled ATV's have been banned in the USA since 1988, too many accidents and fatalities due to their inherent instability. Enjoy it but be very careful, and as you've noted, they are not kid friendly. And not adult friendly either in inexperienced hands.

They are massively unstable indeed! I doubt this will be used much for anything other than a gentle ride round the white roads and through the forests and vines , nothing too fast. I do use a full Motorbike helmet however- just in case!!

I have wanted a 250r or a 350x since I was a kid. I’ve seen a few for sale from time to time but they are really proud of them these days, like 5k for one in great condition.

They don't come cheap for a good one from what I have seen, and more in Europe as there seem less about.
I would imagine a 250r would be fantastic fun, and with suspension, a little less punishing!

Well known here in NZ as neck breakers, and as has been said too many fatalities with these designed to kill you disasters, stay well away buy a nice four wheeler be it 4wd or 2wd.

I’ve seen quite a few ads on Craigslist for people in search of at a lately. Crazy that these haven’t been made in almost 40 years.
