Are Base 1000 bezels being faked ? What is this ?

This just popped up on eBay.

Obviously, it is as vintage as my iPhone 6, so I'm wondering: does it come from a modern Speedmaster reissue/LE that I can't think of at the moment, or is it plainly a fake ?

The font doesn't look very Omega...

Looks like one of the modern Broad Arrow bezels.

I wouldn’t be surprised.

Recently, I found myself looking thru a speedmaster bezel search on eBay and was appalled to see all sorts of terrible ‘reproduction’ bezels, some of which would take a careful eye to distinguish from the real thing. I was very disturbed by this.

My bad, I hadn't realized that some modern Speedies carry a base 1000 bezel. Anyway, I doubt anyone could believe it's a NOS 1960s bezel
