Has anyone tried to fit the new stainless steel Omega Trilogy base 1000 bezel on one of the old cal 321 cases?
Does it fit? If not can it be modified to fit?
I suspect Omega made an effort to get it non interchangeable...

Any experience of this on the forum?

Ok I am stepping up my efforts to see if there is some specific knowledge in this topic here at the forum... ;-)
First a picture I took of a 2915-1 recently sold in Stockholm (2017) that I deem perfectly correct, together with the Trilogy 57' (to the left :).

As anyone can see the "Trilogy 57' Tribute" is very true to the original. (Excluding the new quality bracelet and the "Swiss made" placement on the dial)

Now the upcoming Phillips Geneva watch auction 9, has on offer a 2915-2 Speedy with an exclusive Omega bespoke, steel base 1000 bezel.
They are actually including a Omega receipt with the manufacturing cost stated. Has anyone heard of this practice before?

Isn't that bezel very much the same as the new Trilogy one?
The version with the flat top 3 and only the 7:s in serif font.

    Any thoughts?

By the way, I wore the grail for a minute...
