·Since there are so many beautiful watches in this forum I wondered if if was possible to start creating an archive of omega case measurements in order to make it easier to tell if a case was polished, refurbished, etc.
Every case has its reference points where one could measure easily with a caliper and post pictures of the measurement here.
I hope you get the idea, since English is not my mother tounge, and of course I am open to any discussion.
In the coming days I will start with a, what I think, unpolished 196.0054 Seamaster Mariner, cal. 1310.
