·Hi all,
For the exciting milestone of our son's birth, my wife has been asking about getting a new watch. She's always appreciated Omegas and really fell in love with the 145.018 with a blue dial. Those are unfortunately quite hard to come by (even harder to find one with a clean or mostly clean dial).
I've designed and made watches before so I've decided to take on the task of making something that draws inspiration from the watch she loves but also have the ability to make some changes where I see fit (making it more water resistant, sapphire crystal and caseback maybe...)
I was wondering if someone who owns a 145.018 and a pair of calipers could help me get a few of the main dimensions of the case as I've been getting some less that convincing results trying to extract information from images I've found online.
I know it's said to have 19mm lugs and a diameter between 35-36mm (would love to get an exact value here). It would be super helpful to know the diameter of the crystal as well as a few others.
I'll likely have to make some changes to some of the dimensions based on parts I'll be able to find (things like pushers and crystal that I won't machine myself) but I'm looking to build a rough CAD model of the 145.018 dimensions to start with and work from there.
I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
