·Looking at the patterns from prior years, when did Omega change the teakwood pattern from vertical to horizontal? Was there a particular reason other than aesthetics ?

·I didn’t have the AT on my radar at all. Since picking this up two weeks ago, I have worn it pretty much every day. The vertical is lovely; the horizontal sublime.

·I've owned both styles and I like both patterns. I've seen people express extreme displeasure with the horizontal pattern but I don't know why.
I preferred the size of the 38 vs. the 38.5 (38 is thinner) but the blue color on the 38.5 is more blue than the 38 (more blue-green) so I've stuck with the 38.5.
