Not sure what your issue is, there is still 5 minutes to the hour, it’s not going to be properly aligned until the minute hand is at 12

Picked up an Aqua Terra Black Lacquer 41mm in Bahrain today. Absolutely stunning dial and wonderfully fitting bracelet. Also love the lume and caseback...all in all will make a wonderful daily....

Although a new introduction in Bahrain with discount and VAT refund watch came to about $6100...

What size is your wrist?

Beautiful watch! I find it interesting that you compliment the lume. The AT is a near perfect "one watch" daily wear, but in my opinion the lume is horrible. The size of the lume on the hands and the alignment of the arrow on the minute hand with the hour markers make it virtually illegible at night. I also find that it's never "charged" enough in dim light situations. I have much cheaper watches with better lume than my ATs.

My other minor gripes with the AT were the white background on the date wheel (making it harder to read) and the lack of a micro adjustment on the bracelet. Both of those have been improved with the black dial, and turquoise gradient dial versions however, so there's not much left to complain about. I've got a 38mm shades that's been a daily wear watch, and just added the turquoise gradient. The black dial looks amazing though, and could function equally as a formal, or sports watch. If I had unlimited fun money, I think I'd own one of every color and wear them to match my clothes or mood! Congrats on your purchase!

Did they add micro adjustment to the bracelet on the newer versions?

Does the date not start rurning over around 9pm?
Could be. Didn’t think about 9 PM. I only have 8800’s so I probably shouldn’t comment on the 8900’s.

They did on the black dial and turquoise gradient dial versions, as well as offering them both in two different sizes. I think the older versions and AT shades still have the bracelets with no adjustment.

Here's my 2013 Bumblebee, the hand alignment looks fine at 9 o'clock. It's the date which worries me in the pic. In my experience, the date is centered in the window and snaps over quickly to the next day. But not sure with the newer 8900 movement if it does a gradual rollover or not.

The black dial is nice but that new aqua dial is awesome. I am going to see it in person later today.

Whats your opinion on size 38mm or 41? I have a 6.7inch wrist
I can’t see any clear difference between these photos tbh. Would generally go smaller though. So 38 for me.

another pic of the 41mm
Agreed, either will work, but the 38mm looks better. The Aqua Terra wears larger because it's mostly dial. You could pull off the 41mm but it will look a touch out of proportion compared to the 38mm.
