Many thanks to those who replied to my other thread on the 2502.50 lug width.

I’m now considering a second hand 2503.50, 39mm. As the lug width will mean I can leverage my large collection of straps I use for my Speedmaster Pro including an Omega black alligator deployant strap.

I really like the aesthetics of the first gen Aqua Terras. No numerals on the inner bezel and the very low profile of the piece. I feel I could use this as a dress watch which I’m missing in my collection (Speedmaster Pro, Seamaster Master Co-Axial and a NTTD Seamaster) yet still wear it casually

I’m presuming it’s a 20mm lug width from multiple sources.

My burning question however is what would a 39mm look like on a 19.5/7.7inch wrist. Do any forum members havee this and a similar wrist size? I have quite a wide proportioned wrist and wear a Seiko Annie re-issue comfortably, I just can’t try one on in person so this would be a blind buy.

Sorry can’t help with your question but this inability to try things on before purchase is a pain. Quite common for me there are very few places that have the things I have been looking for so I’m often “buying blind” I guess there are much greater problems in the world but it is annoying. Have you tried the chrono 24 virtual watch wearing app? It’s not offered on every watch but they do have such a thing I wasn’t able to utilize it as it wasn’t available on the watch I was interested in at the time.

I have similar sized watches and a similar sized wrist (a bit smaller) and you will be perfectly happy.

Thanks both, that’s made me a lot more confident. I did buy the No Time to Die blind, but was more reassured as size so similar to my other 2 Omegas (was such a marmite watch for me originally - didn’t like it when saw first press releases, then grew to love it).

I’m keeping an eye on Chrono24 for a 2503.50 at a reasonable price (honestly expected them to be around £2k but seem to push to £3k).
I have seen there’s a Quartz version, but not sure can face spending so much on one (quite like it has less text on the dial but I do find the transparent case on the mechanical one very pleasing).

It's never only the case size to consider but the dial size. For dressier watches without a bezel a case size of around 39mm is perfect. Perfectly in proportion with a 42mm diver and suitable for most wrist sizes.
