Hi all,

I've just bought my wife an Aqua Terra 2502.34, as she loves rose gold, and the size of the watch. It's a 2006 model, so I think it will have the 2500B movement.

I'm not familiar with that particular movement, my PO has the 8900, but I am aware of some issues with the earlier 2500, the A varient mostly.

Just wondering if there's anything I should be looking for as issues with the 2500B going forward.

Cheers, Willsy

If it was serviced by Omega, they would have taken care of anything needing an update.

Bought from a second hand dealer, so I don't know the service history.

For a 2006 watch with unknown service history, I wouldn’t go looking for or expecting problems, but you can’t really be too disappointed if it needs a full service soon.
I’m not an expert, but I would think any problems due to design issues with the calibre would have been evident long before now and sorted by a previous owner.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve bought the watch from a watchmaker, so I know it’s serviced and in good order, was more wondering what any known issues there may have been with the movement, more for my own learning and to keep an eye out in future more so than the watch breaking down soon.
