Hi all - I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas re. what an appropriate crown style would be for this Cal. 13.34, delivered to the US in 1925 and gifted 1926.

I bought the watch partly for its sentimental value to me — per the seller, its original owner, Cameron Bradley, lived in Maine not far from where I grew up, and his (apparently affluent) family’s “home film” collection, including footage from the time period this watch was sold, has historical significance for being some of the earliest candid film footage of the area:

As purchased, the watch had a chunky modern crown. I’ve fitted a replacement from the parts bin that is better, but still not ideal. Does anyone here have any suggestions regarding what a “correct” crown would have looked like in this period and on this case style? Pumpkin, or something more typical to the 30s/40s? I think it will be quite a challenge to find something silver or silver plated, to develop a matching patina.

I have found some reference photos of other watches with this case, but am not sure their crowns are original either (despite their similarities). Thanks all!

my watch:

Beautiful example of an early enamel dial. Good luck on the hunt for the crown, it will complete the vintage look and charm of this beauty.

Thank you both! @Radiumpassion , awesome find, but begs the question: what does “green-gold filled” mean?

This sets me in the right direction though! I’ll keep all posted when I find a suitable fit.
