Looks nice to me. Been worn and loved based on dirt around pushers and crown. Probably even serviced at some point, hence the pushers. Hour hand has some cracked lume and lume is pulling off the index markers. Good signs.
Nice picture by Phillips. Still surprising they don't show caseback. Are intentionally seeking private inquiries from potential buyers?
20k high estimate seems low.

·I'm not sure the pushers are that important on the AS to impact the estimate that much. Omega will still issue the extract/certificate if they are genuine Omega. Having said that if you're going to spend 50k on a speedy then perhaps you'll prefer the correct pushers. This one was offered on this very forum in 2016 and was in the Antiquorum Geneva sale in 2021, though not sold. The lume is suffering more than average, so perhaps that kept the price down.

·I may be wrong, but that 1168 bracelet seems to me like it has not 20 mm width at the last link and was not originally with the head.

·Great thread. Anyone know of any vintage dealers who may have imperfect models for sale….ie…no bracelet…or service pushers and crowns. I know that all original examples go for a huge premium. Generally, what do the ones that are in good condition but with service parts generally sell for? I’m very interested in purchasing an imperfect one to wear.

I've looked at these pictures in awe, as I absolutely love this reference. When I was in London last week I was finally able to see one in person at the Burlington Arcade and it did not disappoint.

·The Limited editions for this mission are the best of all the missions, I think, even better than Apollo XI, although there are of course a LOT of those.
